Born in Dover, 1762, eldest son of Dr. Charles Greenbury Ridgely and Mary Wynkoop Ridgely. Member of State Convention which ratified the Federal Constitution, December 7, 1787. Repeatedly Member of General Assembly from 1788 until 1801. Attorney-General of Delaware, 1791-1801. Delegate to Second State Constitutional Convention, 1791-92. Chancellor of Delaware from 1801 until his death, 1830.

Enjoy. Paper is practically the lifeblood for many visual artists as so many of us draw or work with various grades of it. Taylor uses it for many collage pieces and cards. Jan is an avid watercolorist and completes many paintings in addition to her intricate drawings. Featured artist Linda Chatfield makes handcrafted journals with fascinating textures.

Art and more in Dover. Check out what's happening at the Dover Art League this Saturday. Taylor holds a Second Sunday writer's workshop called 'Finding Yourself in Time." This month's theme is based on 'Place' with exterior and interior focus using handwritten journaling process. She also holds a weekly writing session on Mon, Tues, and Thurs from 8:30 to 10AM. The Farrell's are visiting #Delaware for their #honeymoon. All the way from Dublin, these newlyweds favorite band, #TheStaves are playing at #firefly2016. They came all this way to hear them. And they are part of The Wire as they stepped on it--the spot where the US began. #FirstState

Taylor is so excited today! One of the great things about being in the gallery almost every day is getting to meet some of the patrons and collectors who have supported her over the years. Former Doverite, Liz of Palm Key Florida stopped by today. Her favorite purchase was the 3 Victorians on State which together are named "Endangered Species." Such fun to know the stories behind the purchases. Liz always loved those stately homes. We're all so wishing they had stayed residences but glad to have them still in tact in the prints.
